As a Solution Architect, I was responsible to deliver peace of CenturyLink stream components. My role included but not limited to the following projects:

Private Clouds

Role: System architect/automation developer
As a part of the solution we designed and implemented IaaS/PaaS clouds for video processing. The solution was built on top of OpenStack and supported both multicast and unicast traffic (Calico networking). This allowed solving all use cases using unified infrastructure.
For container orchestration and build, automation OpenShift environment was implemented.
The unified infrastructure allowed the customer to solve any new demand quickly.

Video storage
Technologies: RHEL, Gluster, Ansible
Role: System architect
The project required to have a storage for on-demand video content and for live channels. This is a very important part of the solution which must be highly available and durable. I implemented that project from design to support documentation. The solution still solves all customer needs and scales well.

Content Delivery Network
Technologies: Nginx, Python, bash, centos7
Role: Solution Architect
As a part of the project, we implemented a content delivery network (CDN) for thousands of users. The solution includes:
• Web request routing
• Origin servers
• Parent cache systems
• Cache servers
The solution is highly optimized and able to support thousands of users. Request routing system was written in python and its logic includes high availability of end services even if the whole site goes down. It automatically distributes clients between nearest available cache servers.

Infrastructure and Network Automation

Role: Solution Architect
As a part of the project we designed, created, and delivered a fully automated solution for the customer, along with the training the customer team for further self-support. The solution includes:

• Load Balancers, Firewalls, Border Routers, VPN
• Infrastructure services such as syslog, monitoring, analysis, IPAM, DHCP, IDM, KVM, SMTP, NMS, Automation Platform, etc.
